Maxine Brooks is the vocal director of the Birmingham Community Gospel Choir ( BCGC).

A successful choir that was formed in June 2005. The members are a racial mix of dedicated and talented singers who have a passion for singing Gospel music. Many popular and oringinal songs are performed.

The choir rehearsals are on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of every month at King Edward Vl Girls School, Rose Hill Rd, Handsworth, B21 9AR. 7 - 9 pm in the Music Building. (The old Methodist Church).

All are welcome to come along for an opportunity join the choir, develop their voice and share the joy of gospel and inspirational music through singing. There is a great fellowship of friends too.

Audtions are held reguarly for interested members.
